Ingredients

    12 oz whole wheat pasta
    4 slices turkey bacon
    1 lb large shrimp, peeled and devained (I used frozen)
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 c scallions or green onions
    2 C nonfat milk
    2 tbl all purpose flour
    1 C parmesan cheese (grated or shredded)
    2 tbl dried parsley

Directions

Cook pasta according to directions, drain and keep warm
Cook bacon in large nonstick skillet until crispy - crumble and set aside
Add garlic and onions to pan - saute for 2 min, then add shrimp and saute until cooked - transfer shrimp mixture to another bowl - add bacon
Add milk, flour, salt, and pepper to skillet and cook over med heat until it bubbles and begins to thicken (stir often) - add cheese and stir until melted
Add sauce to shrimp and then add pasta and parsley

Serving size is 1 1/4 cups pasta
