    1/2 cup Lentils
    3/4 cup Split Peas
    3 Quaerts of Water
    2 Chicken Breast boneless, skinless
    1 tsp Cumin
    1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tbsp Garlic powder
    1 tbsp Poultry seasoning
    2 tsp Sage, ground
    1/4 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne
    2 tbso Basil
    2 tsp Oregano, ground
    1 tbsp Parsley, dried
    1 tsp *Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
    Salt to taste
    1 tsp Pepper, black
    1 tsp *Soy Sauce
    2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
    Spinach, frozen, 1 package (16 oz) yields
    1 cup Soybeans, green
    1/2 cup of brown rice


Put lentils, split peas, water and chicken into the pan and bring to a boil.
Add spices and simmer for 1 hour. Spices are a rough estimate. Take and adjust spices to your taste.
Remove chicken and shred it and return it to the pot.
Add 1/2 cup of brown rice.
Simmer for another 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
You can use a slow cooker.
