    20 oz frozen blueberries, thawed
    3 large kiwi fruit peeled and cubed
    1 cup sugar
    1.5 cups water
    juice of 1.5 limes
    mint sprigs


To Make Simple Syrup:
combine sugar and water in saucepan, bring to boil
when mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes
remove from heat and let cool

To Make Sorbet:
put blueberries and kiwi fruit in blender or food processor and puree until smooth
add simple syrup and blend until smooth
squeeze in juice of 1.5 limes and blend until smooth
if using mint sprigs, chop finely and add to fruit/simple syrup and blend until combined
transfer mixture to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions
transfer to container and freeze until desired consistency

if you do not have an ice cream maker, the mixture can be transferred directly to freezer
