This sounds like it would be very good with rice noodles, lower in calories and good for those who need a GF diet. I'll be trying it that way for my husband and I. - 2/27/13

I would use Shirataki noodles instead and leave out the OJ.. this will greatly reduce the carb count. - 3/17/13

Tastes good, but I believe that the nutrition info is kind of off... I just don't think that 8 oz of pasta (which is normally 150-200 cals per 2oz serving) served between 3 people works out to 94 calories (which is what the nutrition breakdown has it listed at.) - 2/27/13

  • The sodium can be reduced by using coconut aminos or reduced sodium soy sauce, finding the lowest sodium peanut butter. and I would substitute stevia granular for the sugar. Sounds good despite the higher carbs - 8/6/20

  • I made this today. I wasn't sure, but I used apple cider vinegar. Should it have been white vinegar? I liked the heat. Hubby did not. He also said that perhaps adding meat would have helped, but I am trying to not use meat in everything. I am planning to freeze some to see if it works.)YUMMY! - 1/25/18

Quite tasty. I subbed a package of pre-cooked yakisoba noodles for the pasta and a small can of pineapple chunks in juice for the orange juice. We kicked up the spices a bit and really enjoyed the sweet/spicy combination with the richness of the peanut butter. Will make again. - 8/28/17

  • I do a asian cabbage salad very similar to this with no noodles, a bit of sesame oil but no soy sauce & Splenda instead of sugar. A bit of balsamic vinegar instead of regular is good too. Can add cooked chicken or tofu for a main dish. - 8/27/17

Super!! I added cubed, firm tofu, to increase protein, and I topped it with chopped cilantro (it's crying for that!) Totally loved it! Cannot wait for the leftovers, which I'll have cold. Thanks for this terrific recipe. - 8/17/11

I didn't have hot pepper flakes and I think it would really benefit from the spicy heat. So good, can't wait to try other vegetables in it. - 1/24/09
