A favorite in our house all year. It makes a great gift for the holidays. A favorite in our house all year. It makes a great gift for the holidays.
Number of Servings: 40

Ingredients

    oatmeal
    maple syrup
    wheat germ
    sweetened coconut
    dried cherries
    raisins

Directions

Mix the oats, coconut, and wheat germ in a bowl. In a sauce pan heat the oil, maple syrup and brown sugar. Heat until the sugar melts. Pour over the oatmeal mixture and then spread on a large (sprayed with PAM) cooking sheet.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven.
Bake ten minutes. Stir.
Bake another 10 minutes our until golden brown.
Take out of oven. Add the dired fruit. Cool to room temperature.
