Introduction

Super Easy and pretty tasty low fat biscuits! Super Easy and pretty tasty low fat biscuits!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 cup self rising flour
    3/4 cup non fat plain yogurt or low fat sour cream
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    you can also add minced onion and fresh rosemary to these

Directions

Spray cooking sheet with olive oil. Mix ingredients together and form into 12 drop biscuits with a spoon. Bake 10-12 min until lightly golden brown. Do not overbake.
You can easily double the recipe and make bigger biscuits too.

  • I tried this recipe. It is fast to mix and bakes in 10 min. (mine 12 min.) but I made 9 biscuits instead of 12. Other changes 1/2 c all purpose flour & 1/2 c of almond flour. I did not have self-rising flour so added 1 1/4 tsp baking pwdr & 1/4 tsp of salt slightly round. Baked @ 450 in toster oven - 5/10/18
