Number of Servings: 6



    *Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 16 oz
    Beans, red kidney, 1.5 cup
    Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added, 3.5 cup
    Tomato Sauce, 3.5 cup
    Onions, raw, 1 small
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, diced
    *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 3 clove
    Chili powder, 3 tbsp
    *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp
    Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper
    red pepper flakes if desired


Brown turkey in a deep skillet. Mix in remaining ingredients and let simmer. The chili will be ready to eat after about 30 minutes, but the longer it sits, the better it tastes.

You can also put this in a slow cooker for at least 4 hours on high...again, the longer it simmers, the better it comes out.
