Introduction

Spicy Kielbassa Gumbo - another one of my various experiments. I was tired last night and had kielbassa in the fridge. We haven't had it in awhile so I thought - what the hey. Not the best for you dinner, but a tastey change of pace. You CAN make this a good for you dinner by using turkey or reduced calorie kielbassa. (I'm also including white rice in the calorie count for a whole meal. This recipe fed a family of 6 (1 man and 1 teenage boy included - lol) Spicy Kielbassa Gumbo - another one of my various experiments. I was tired last night and had kielbassa in the fridge. Ingredients

    2 - 16 oz packages of polish kielbasa
    1 - 10oz package of frozen mixed vegtables
    1 - 16 oz can of Huntz Zesty italian spaghetti sauce
    1 - small onion chopped
    1 tsp minced garlic
    1 tsp dried parsley
    3 cups of cooked white rice

Directions

Slice kielbassa in 1/4" sections, dice onions, and cook 3 cups of white or brown rice

Heat a medium to large size sauce pan - cook keilbassa, onions, spices and frozen vegtables over medium to high heat. Once cooked throughly add sauce.

Serve over white rice and garnish with more parsley...enjoy!
