    8 chicken thighs skin removed
    2 medium onions chopped
    2 cloves garlic pressed
    1 cup red wine
    1 cup chicken broth
    16 ox sliced fresh mushrooms
    2 pat butter
    4 teaspoons corn starch
    8 oz egg noodles


8 servings

Chop onions and brown with bacon bits in non stick pans with 1 T olive oil
Place in bottom of slow cooker
Brown skinless thighs in same pan, sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme
Place browned thighs on top of onions.
Add minced garlic, wine and chicken broth to pan and cook for approx. 3 minutes. Pour mixture over chicken.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Brown mushrooms in 2 pats of butter until brown. Add to chicken mixture in Crock pot. Turn up to high and let boil for 5 minutes. Remove chicken and keep warm. Add 4 teaspons of corn starch to 2 1.2 Tbsp. of water. Mix well and add to boiling broth in crock. cook on high for approx. 10 min.

Cook noodles al dente. Pour broth mixture over chicken. Spoon broth over servind of noodles with a chicken thigh and serve.
