Introduction

This is a version of nachos that my kids love. I usually have to double the recipe for them and my husband. A once a year treat!! This is a version of nachos that my kids love. I usually have to double the recipe for them and my husband. A once a year treat!!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef, drained
    6 oz. Velveeta cheese 2%
    6 oz water
    1 pkg Old El Paso taco seasoning
    Toppings:
    Guacamole
    Sour Cream
    Salsa

Directions

Cut up velveeta into cubes and set aside. Brown the ground beef and drain if needed. Add taco seasoning and mix with ground beef, add water and cheese. Stirring frequently over medium high heat until the cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Serve by the plate with 4 oz chips, the beef mixture, and then desired toppings. Adding chopped tomato and lettuce is great also.
