Ingredients

    2 T olive oil
    2 c uncooked, short-grain brown rice
    6 cloves garlic, minced
    1.5 c water
    2 (14.25 oz) cans reduced sodium, fat-free chicken broth
    1/4 t salt

Directions

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add rice, sautee 1 minute.
Add garlic, sautee 2 minutes.
Stir in water, broth and salt. Bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat and cook over medium-low heat 55 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
Fluff with fork.
