Wonderful creamed spinach with a hint of nutmeg and Parmesan cheese Wonderful creamed spinach with a hint of nutmeg and Parmesan cheese
Number of Servings: 4


    2 tbsp olive oil
    1/2 Medium onion chopped
    2-3 cloves garlic
    2 tbsp white flour
    2 cups 1% Milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    1 package of frozen spinach defrosted and drained
    1/4 cup gated Parmesan cheese


Makes 4-6 servings.
Cook onions and garlic in olive oil, over medium heat, till onions are translucent, add salt, pepper and nutmeg and toast spices for a few seconds. Add flour and cook for a few minutes before adding milk. Stir constantly till milk thickens and begins to bubble. Add spinach and cook till bubbling again. Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
