That's right, its a burger and a burrito! That's right, its a burger and a burrito!
Number of Servings: 6


    1/4 pound extra lean ground turkey breast
    1/4 pound 93% lean ground turkey
    1/2 cup fat free refried beans
    2 TBS finely minced onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 jalapeno chili, seeded and minced
    2 tsp chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste


In a bowl mix beans and all other ingredients except meat. Then gently mix meat in. Do not over mix. If you make 4 patties they have 105 cal each. I use an ice cream scoop to portion 6 patties.
Coat a large non-stick skillet with canola oil spray and place over medium heat. Cook the burgers about 5 min per side. Burgers will crumble easily so turn them carefully.
You can also use extra lean ground sirloin. I like to mix higher and lower fat ground turkey. You can also save time by buying canned jalapenos. Just look for ones that are NOT in vinegar.
I serve these on Orawheat/Arnold Sandwich Thins. Top with well drained salsa or toppings of your choice.
