    1 1/4 c flour
    1/4 c sugar
    2 tsp sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/8 tsp salt
    4 tbsp cold unsalted butter--cut into bits
    1/3 cup light sour cream
    1 egg
    3/4 cup dried cranberries


Heat oven to 375. Whisk together flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cut butter in with pastry blender until evenly crumbly. In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream and egg. Add to flour mixture, along with berries, and stir everything together with a fork.
Knead several times in bowl to work in any loose flour. Place dough on an ungreased baking sheet and shape into a 3/4 inch thick disk. Sprinkle top with 2 tsp sugar. Cut into 8 wedges, but leave them together. Bake 20 minutes or unti top is light golden and center is no longer doughy.
