Ingredients

    6 Beef Bouillon Cubes
    3 Quarts Water
    1 1/2 lb Beef Chunks
    1 Lg Onion, Chopped
    1/2 Tsp Thyme
    1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
    Salt to taste
    1 Tsp Paprika
    1 Bay Leaf
    1/2 Cup Barley
    2 Cans Diced Tomatoes with Juice
    1 Cup Carrots, Sliced
    1/2 Cup Celery, Chopped
    1/2 Cup Frozen Peas
    1/2 Cup Green Beans
    2 Potatoes, Diced
    1/4 Cup Parsley, Chopped


Directions

Combine first 10 ingredients in a dutch oven and bring to a boil, simmer for 3 hours. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes longer. Let soup stand for 15 minutes before serving.
