    1 cup sliced celery
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    8 cups(2 quarts) chicken broth
    1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
    1(16oz.) package frozen vegetable combination
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/2 (16 oz.)package Fine egg noodles


In 6-quart saucepan, over medium heat, cook celery, onion and garlic in oil until tender; add remaining ingredients except noodles. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add noodles. Cover and simmer 5 minutes or until noodles are tender. Refigerate leftovers.

    Very Good
    great recipe. almost like we always make it. will definitely make again since it is perfect on a rainy day. We sometimes add lean ground beef, browned before adding, if we want some meat, but it is great as is. - 9/24/10
