Ingredients

    1/2 c. onion, fine chopped
    3 cloves of garlic, minced
    1 T. margarine
    8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    2 T. red wine vinegar
    2 T. water
    2 t. prepared mustard
    1/4 t. salt
    1/4 c. 1% milk
    1/2 c. non-fat sour cream



Directions

Saute onions and garlic in margarine. Add mushrooms. Saute until mushroom have released their liquid and are cooked through. Add vinegar, water and mustard, stirring to scrape up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Add salt and milk and cook until liquid reduces and slightly thickens. Whisk in sour cream. Serve this over pork loin or beef. It also makes a nice Stroganoff sauce.

    Serving size was plenty and the taste was amazing - hard to believe such a creamy sauce was so low cal!
