Ingredients

3/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 lb. ground sirloin (no more than 10% fat)
4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
6 oz. uncooked pasta (I used Wacky Mac)
1 - 15 oz. can pinto beans, rinsed & drained
1 - 14.5 oz. can tomatoes with green chilies
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
Directions
Heat non stick skillet sprayed with non stick cooking spray over medium heat. Add onion & beef to pan; cook 4 minutes or until onion is tender and beef is browned, stirring to crumble. Stir in chili powder, cumin and oregano; cook 1 minute. Stir in 2 c. water and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 18 minutes or until pasta is done.
