    Beef, round steak, 30 oz (tenderized)
    *Flour, white, .25 cup
    *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
    Salt, .5 tsp
    *Condensed Low Fat Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1 can
    Milk, nonfat, 1 cup


Tenderize 6 pieces of lean steak with a meat hammer or purchase prepared cubed or tenderized steak. Salt each piece lightly and coat with flour.

Heat 1 tablespoon or oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the floured steak pieces into the skillet and brown on both sides.

In a large baking dish mix mushroom soup and nonfat milk until the soup thins. Add the meat, cover, and bake for 90- minutes.

    I added onion, thinly sliced, and minced garlic. I sautéed it in the pan with the cubed steaks before putting them in the baking dish. It was a hit with the whole family. - 12/29/13

    Easy and delicious! I did brown up some fresh mushrooms in the pan after I browned the cubed steak. Added just a little butter, garlic and worchestire sauce with the mushrooms as well and then put them in the pan to bake with the steaks. Was a great addition! - 10/29/12
