    1 egg
    1 T. cornstarch
    2 T. rice wine vinegar
    2 T. lite soy sauce

Optional ingredients: leftover cooked pork or chicken, sliced very thin; water chestnuts; bamboo shoots; thinly sliced carrots; tofu.

Blend 1 c. cold broth with cornstarch and soy sauce. Bring remaining broth to boil in a large pot. Beat egg lightly. Thinly slice onions and mushrooms.
