Introduction

Ingredients

    1 can Chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
    2 tbsp Olive Oil
    2 cloves Garlic
    3 tbsp Cold Tap Water
    2 tbsp Tahini
    3 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice, 3 tbsp
    2 dashes Salt

Directions

Place the garlic on a sheet in your toaster oven and bake at 300 degrees while you're preparing the rest of the recipe.

Drain and rinse the chickpeas, squeeze the lemon juice, and measure all the other ingredients into the food processor. Once this is done, take the garlice out of the toaster oven and peel away the skin. The garlic should be soft. Put it in the food processor with all the other ingredients.

Pulse a few times to get mix started. Then just set it to "on" for a minute or so until smooth.

Yields: about 2 cups
Serving size: 2 tblsp.
