Introduction

Really good Cheesy Potatos Really good Cheesy Potatos
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    2 cups Sour cream
    1/3 cup Green onions (chopped)
    2lb Bag of hash browns (*optionally you could use potatoes see note below)
    16oz Shredded cheese
    1/4 cup Butter (I have found you can use less than 1/4 cup depending on the type of cheese)
    1 tsp Salt
    1/4 tsp White pepper

Directions

Steam hash-browns for 25 minutes. (Steaming is optional)
Melt cheese & butter on low heat
Blend in sour cream
Mix in hash-browns & remaining ingredients
Spread into glass or ceramic dish. (If you texture the top, with more ridges, the top will be crunchier)
Bake 45-55 minutes at 350°


*Using potatoes. (** Unsure the qty **)
Boil potatoes until cooked.
Place in cold water, then place them in the refrigerator.
After they cool down and are cold. The skins will almost fall off of them which is exactly what you want.
Shred the potatoes with a course shredder.
