Introduction

Ingredients

    2 cups dried split peas
    2.5 cups shredded white meat turkey
    2 cups turkey broth
    1/2 large onion, chopped fine
    3 medium stalks celery, chopped fine
    3 medium carrots, chopped fine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 bay leaves
    salt & pepper to taste
    enough water to let peas cook, add when starts to get to dry

Directions

Throw everything in soup pot. Simmer slowly for at least 90 minutes. Check for seasoning and add water to keep soup to the consistency you prefer. Serves 5
