Introduction

These sound a little weird but they are delicious, and they freeze well. Try reheating them in a casserole dish layered with low-fat cream of mushroom soup. Yummy! Ingredients

    3 cups nonfat cottage cheese
    1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
    1/4 cup wheat germ
2 Tbsp Brewers yeast (nutritional yeast, not the baking kind)
    1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
1 packet of dry onion soup mix
1 1/2 cups fat-free egg substitute (Eggbeaters or similar)

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Form into small patties (about 2 inches across). Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and spray with Pam. Place patties gently into the pan (they fall apart easily before they are cooked), brown on one side then flip to brown the other side.
