A simple, tasty granola that you can make with stuff you already have. A simple, tasty granola that you can make with stuff you already have.
Number of Servings: 6

    2 c. Old-fashioned oats
1/2 c. brown sugar (light, unpacked)
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. shredded, sweetened coconut
    1/4 c. slivered almonds

Mix everything together in a large bowl (you can microwave the corn syrup for 20 seconds or so to make it easier to incorporate) and then spread evenly on a foil-lined cookie sheet.

Bake for ten minutes at 350, then stir the mixture really well. Bake another ten minutes or so, until the granola is lightly toasted.

Allow to cool completely before eating - it gets crunchier as it cools.

Makes about 6 half-cup servings.

Number of Servings: 6
