Introduction

A delicious way to cook brussels sprouts that my boyfriend and I simply love. Nutritional info includes margarine, shallots, and garlic that we don't end up eating all of. Ingredients

    3/4 lb brussels sprouts, fresh
    1 medium shallot, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 tbsp margarine, cut into small pieces
    juice from half of one lemon (or to taste)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Chop garlic and shallots, sautee in medium frying pan with small amount of olive or canola oil until tender.

Wash brussels sprouts and put in a 2-qt casserole. Top with margarine, shallot and garlic, and lemon. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Sprouts will be slightly browned on the outside, and tender on the inside.
