So yummy and flavorful. So yummy and flavorful.
Number of Servings: 6

    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp butter
    3 large onions, sliced
1 large green cabbage, quartered and sliced
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste

1 16 oz package enriched egg noodles

Heat large saute pan, add olive oil and butter. Slice 3 large onions - the key is to have the slices about the same width as the egg noodles. Add onions to saute pan. Quarter and slice cabbage, again with slices about the same width as noodles. Add to saute pan. Cook, stirring occasionally. You want this to brown a bit (that's why you need the butter).

Cook the noodles, strain.

Mix the onion & cabbage in with the noodles in a large bowl.

Makes 6 servings.
