Ingredients

    Turkey breast meat, 12 ounces
    Brown Rice, long grain, cooked 1.5 cup
    Flour, white, 2 tbsp
    Butter, salted, 2 tbsp
    Chicken Broth or Bouillon, 8 fl oz
    Colby Cheese, Low Fat, 1/2 cup, shredded
    Broccoli, frozen, 16 oz

Directions

Melt butter in small skillet and add flour. Whisk until combined. Add Chicken broth and simmer until thickened.

Combine turkey, broccoli, gravy, rice and 1/2 cheese in large bowl and mix.

Spread into baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake until hot and bubbly (about 30 minutes)

    Another variation is to leave out the flour, butter, broth and cheese and replace it with healthy request cream of chicken soup. (one or two cans depending on the consistency you like) - 11/26/11

    I enjoyed this recipe. Will probably add mushrooms to it next time I make it. It was tasty and filling. - 12/13/09
