Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb. extra lean ground turkey
    large can crushed tomatoes
    3 15 oz. cans of red kidney beans, two drained
    3 green bell peppers, chopped coarsely
    3 yellow onions, chopped coarsely
    1 tbsp. of tomatoe paste
    4-5 tbsp of chili powder to taste
    3 tbsp of garlic powder to taste
    4-5 tbsp of cumin seeds or adjust for cumin powder
    1/4 c olive oil

Directions

Makes 12 1-cup servings
Saute turkey with onions and peppers in olive oil. Add to large pot. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomatoe paste, a cup of water, along with all spices. Simmer 20 minutes. Taste and add chili powder, cumin, and garlic if needed to taste. Add one can kidney beans undrained and two cans kidney beans drained. Simmer for 30 minutes and serve.
