Introduction

I love this recipe and it's very easy to make...my kind of recipe for sure! I love this recipe and it's very easy to make...my kind of recipe for sure!
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    10 oz. pkg frozen brocolli (cooked)
    2 TB margarine (melted)
    1 small onion (diced)
    10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 cup fat free milk
    1 cup minute rice (don't cook)
    1/2 cup cheese (shredded)

Directions

Mix all ingredients together except cheese and place in a greased 8x8 square dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 35 mins. at 350 degrees. Cut into 9 equal servings.

Makes 9 servings.

    I used low sodium cream of mushroom soup since the regular version has SO MUCH salt. I guess this recipe really needed the full salt version because without it, it was bland. The flavor of the onion overpowered the dish, so make sure to use a very small one. Fresh mushrooms might be a good addition. - 6/4/09
