Introduction

An old family recipe from my mother. . . it just tastes like home. An old family recipe from my mother. . . it just tastes like home.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb. sliced, cooked turkey ham
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. br. sugar
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2/3 cup evaporated milk
    1/3 cup water
    1/4 cup cut-up onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 cup sliced raw carrots (or whole baby carrots)
    3 cups thinly sliced, raw potatoes

Directions

In large skillet, brown ham slices in margarine and brown sugar. Remove ham and pour off drippings. Mix all remaining ingredients in skillet. Cover, cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until vegetable are tender. About 35 minutes. Place ham on vegetables . Cover and cook ten minutes more. Makes 4 servings. (4 oz. meat, 1 cup vegetables)
