Introduction

Using Toll House Chocolate Chip Recipe but adding a whole bag of chips and instead of one whole teaspoon of vanilla add 1/2 almond extract and 1/2 vanilla Using Toll House Chocolate Chip Recipe but adding a whole bag of chips and instead of one whole teaspoon of vanilla add 1/2 almond extract and 1/2 vanilla
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    2 1/4 cup flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 sticks margarine (softened)
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon almond extract
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    bag of chocolate chips

Directions

Add first 3 dry ingredients together in seperate bowl.
Set aside, in another bowl cream the margarine, brown sugar and granulated sugar together. Make sure it's pretty smooth. Then add 2 eggs and the vanilla and almond extract. Stir vigorously to mix it all together. Add the flour a little at a time. When it is completely combined then add the chips and stir well.
Important!! Put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Now when you are ready, preheat oven 375 degrees. If you have a good even oven you will only have to bake these for 10 mins.
Drop by teaspoonful on the baking sheet. Says it makes 72. I usually only make 24 because I make them big.
Do not substitute butter for the margarine. Butter has a lower melting point and will make your cookies thin.
