Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 15 oz can of black bean soup
    3 15 oz cans of mixed chili beans, rinsed and drained
    1 15 oz can of vegetarian baked beans
    1 large 28 oz can of diced or chopped tomatoes in a puree
    1 cup jar tomato sauce (plain, or tomato basil)
    1 15oz can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    3 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
    1 T chili powder, or to taste
    1 T dried basil
    2 tsp brown sugar
    juice from 1/2 lemon
    2 fresh tomatoes, chopped

Directions

In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cook on low for 6-7 hours, or cook on high for at least 2 hours. Cut out the brown sugar if you like it less sweet. Makes at least 12 1 cup servings.
