Ingredients

    1 lb Elbow Macaroni
    1 lb Velveeta cheese
    3-1/2 cups milk
    2 sticks butter
    2 tbs flour
    Salt & pepper
    1 cup crushed crackers

Directions

Prepare macaroni according to directions until al dente. Drain and add to baking dish.
Preheat oven to 350.
Melt one stick butter in pan. Add flour, salt and pepper and stir to make a roux. Add milk and Velveeta. Stir constantly until cheese is melted. Pour over macaroni and stir well.
In same pan, melt the other stick of butter. Add crushed crackers and mix well. Sprinkle over macaroni mixture.
Cover and cook 30 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 10 minutes.
