Introduction

Ingredients

    # Ground beef, lean, 32 oz
    # *Daisy Light Sour Cream, 9 tbsp
    # *Kraft 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup
    # *Hunt's Tomato Sauce, no salt added, 1 cup
    # *Egg white, 1 serving, beaten stiff
    # Garlic powder, .5 tsp
    # Chili powder, 2 tsp
    # Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped (
    # Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.25 cup, chopped

Directions

Cook and drain meat.
Place meat, onion, pepper, sauce, garlic & Chili powder in skillet. Simmer 8-10 minutes. Spray 8x8 pan with Pam. Put meat mixture in pan. Beat together cheese, sour cream, and egg white and put on top of meat mixture. bake at 375 F for 25-30 minutes.

Serves 6 and net carbs are 5 grams

    This is just for 1 serving. If the serving size is for 6 then it would only be 505 cals. still high but better than 3032 - 5/1/09

    I believe that the number of servings should be changed to 6, which would reduce the nutrition (fat/calories) drastically. This sounds very good and I will be trying it soon. - 3/31/09

  • I used Soy "beef' crumbles and followed the rest of the recipe. I saved over 2000 calories for the whole meal. I got 6 servings out of it. - 5/24/09
