    1 package chicken, skin removed
    1 lb baby carrots
    1 can green beans, no salt added, drained
    garlic and onion to taste
    approx 2 cups low salt chicken broth


Place carrots, green beans, garlic and onion in bottom of crockpot. Add chicken on top. Pour enough chicken broth to cover chicken.
Cook on high 8-10 hours.
Makes approx 5 servings.

  • It was good. The chicken just fell apart. I ended up shredding the chicken and made a soup out of it. My husband thought that it was a bit bland, so maybe some pepper would help it. - 10/19/07

  • Put a small whole chicken my slow cooker .. left for the day. Came home and chicken was falling off the bone. Moist and delicious with left over chicken for another meal. Hubby hoved it and raved on the flavor. Easy & good , it doesn't get any better then that on a busy day:} - 3/26/07
