Strata means "layer" in Italian. I used up leftovers in the fridge to make this strata, which includes 6 fresh eggs from our chickens. Ingredients

    Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 1 cup
    1 medium onion, chopped
    Broccoli, fresh, 3 cup, chopped
    Bacon, 6 medium slices, cooked & crumbled
    Cheddar Cheese, 3 oz, shredded
    Egg, fresh, 6 medium
    Milk, 1%, 1 cup
    Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Chop broccoli and put in a pie plate that you've sprayed with oil.

Saute onion and peppers in a saucepan. Sprinkle over the broccoli.

Cook bacon, crumble over onion mix.

Top strata with the cheese.

Beat eggs with milk, then pour into pie plate.

Bake at 375 for an hour.
