Ingredients

    5 c. whole wheat flour
    5 c. white flour
    1c. sugar
    16 tsp. baking powder
    3/4c. shortening
    9-10 c. water

Directions

Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Stir in water and egg. Cook on skillet for until sides are dry or bubbles begin to pop. Flip and finish cooking on other side.
**I cut in the shortening to all the dry ingredients and store it as a mix to use one meal at a time. 2c. of mix plus one egg and about 2 c. of water make about nine pancakes at a time.
