Quick Easy and has all 4 food groups! Quick Easy and has all 4 food groups!
Number of Servings: 4

1 package Jimmy Dean reduced fat pork breakfast sausage
    1 lbs of red potatoes
    .5 lb snap green beans
6 slices (21 grams each) chedder, american, or pepper jack cheese
    1/3 cup water
    Garlic Powder
    Onion Powder

Lightly cook sausage. At the same time, clean and lighly cook the green beans. You may sub w/2 cans of green beans if you like. While that is cooking wash and thinly slice potatoes leaving skin on. Place them in a 3 quart glass baking dish, pour 1/4-1/3 cup of water over them and season with salt, pepper, onion, and garlic powder. Next, layer green beans and sausage. Cover tightly w/oven safe lid or foil. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes or until you can poke through the potatoes and feel that they are done. Place cheese on top and place back in the oven for another 5 minutes or so until the cheese melts. Remove from oven, remove cover, and let rest 10-15 minutes. Makes 4 big servings. It's great with about a half pound of cheese in it but for calorie's sake I've cut it down to 6 slices!
