    2 cups cubed ham
    2 cups lentils, washed thoroughly
    5 cups hot water
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 bay leaf
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper


Combine all ingredients and simmer for 2 hours. Remove bay leaf. Puree in a food processor or blender. Makes 6 servings.
