Ingredients

    1 1/3 cups quick cooking oats, uncooked
    1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1/3 cup white sugar
    1/4 cup chopped pecans
    1/2 cup chocolate chips
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt


    1/4 cup butter (melted)
    1/4 cup (low calories margarine 5 cal / tbsp)
    1/4 cup egg beater egg substitute

    1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

Mix above ingredients. Add 1/2 cup melted butter mix, egg sub, and one teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix well. Arrange on a lightly greased cookie sheet in 1 inch balls. Bake at 350 degrees for 11-13 minutes. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet. Makes about 2 ½ dozen cookies.

I chop up the chocolate chips, or use mini chips.
