    2 C onions, thinly sliced
    2 TB butter, margarine, or olive oil
    1 C scalded milk
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1.5 C grated white cheddar
    1# broccoli, cooked tender
    Salt/pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Prepare one 9 or 10" crust.
Melt butter, marg. or olive oil in pan. Saute onions until golden, transparent.
Place onions on crust.
Cook fresh or frozen broccoli until very tender.
Place over onions.
Scald milk on med heat. Stir in eggs, cheese, salt and pepper. Heat until blended.
Pour over veg's.
Place in oven for 40-45 min. until knife comes out clean.
*can add: real bacon pieces; crab meat; artichoke hearts; other seasonings to taste. Use your imagination!
