A lowfat delicious creamy Greek dressing A lowfat delicious creamy Greek dressing
Number of Servings: 64

    1 cup Hellman's light mayonnaise
    1 cup plain lowfat yogurt
8 oz feta cheese, (low salt if possible)
    1/2 cup red wine vinegar
    3 Tbsp olive oil
    2 tsp dried oregano
    (1 clove garlic, optional)

(1 serving = 1 rounded tablespoon)

Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and mix until smooth.

(This recipe will make one quart of dressing and will last in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 weeks.)

(The garlic flavor is delicious, but it gets stronger and stronger over time - so if you want to avoid bad breath, leave it out!)

Number of Servings: 64

This was really good, as a marinade for chicken, then as a dressing for a salad topped with feta and the marinated grilled chicken. - 3/15/09

This dressing went great with the Garbage Salad from Lancia12. The garlic in the salad dressing does get stronger the longer it sits in the fridge but was very good with the above salad. We loved it. - 10/22/07

Hi! If this makes 64 servings, how much would one serving be? Thank you! I can't wait to make it ;) - 6/14/10

You know ... I usually add an extra 1/2 cup of yogurt to the mix because I like it a little less vinegary too!

  • Excellent. I mixed the ingredients with a whisk, instead of a food processor, which left the feta cheese in little pieces. It had the consistency of blue cheese dressing. I even spread a little on a flatbread when I made my sandwich. I highly recommend. - 8/15/12

  • Loved this!! It was a hit at our Cinco de Mayo party too. I might thin it out a little next time, maybe with some mild or buttermilk. - 5/9/12

  • This is very good! I used fat-free Fage yogurt because the only other plain yogurt I could find was 32 oz. and I knew I'd never use it. I think the Fage made the recipe a bit thick but no problem. I enjoy it was a veggie dip, too! I may decrease vinegar next time. I prefer less tangy flavors. - 12/31/09
