    1 lb of lean ground beef
    1 cup cooked white rice (can be subsititued for brown rice)
    1 jar chunky marinara sauce
    1 cup chopped green pepper


Cook 1 lb. lean ground beef over medium heat. Add chopped green pepper. Let ground beef and pepper simmer for a few minutes. Add chunky marinara sauce and cooked rice into the beef and peppers. Let simmer under low/med. heat for 5 minutes. Enjoy!!

  • Sounds yummy! I might try it for a pot luck/soccer party this weekend! will use ground turkey instead, as that is what I have on hand and I really like the flavor better than beef! Might be a good dish to use up leftover rice as well! - 11/4/09
