Ingredients

    1 bunch aspargus, cut into 1/3s
    1 C fresh broccoli, chopped
    1 medium chopped tomato
    1 C FF milk
    1/4 C fat free half and half
    1/4 C flour
    2 Tbsp light butter
    1/4 C parmesan, grated
    4 oz cream cheese
    9 oz cheese tortellini
    garlic pepper to taste
    1/4-1/2 tsp italian seasoning

Directions

Cut and trim asparagus of tough ends. Place into microwaveable bowl along with the chopped broccoli. Microwave for 3 minutes until crisp tender.

Bring pot of water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package directions.

While pasta is boiling, melt butter in large pan. Add flour, half and half, and milk. Stir until smooth and boil until thick. Add cream cheese, parmesan, and seasonings. Mix until blended smooth. Add steamed vegetables as well as the chopped tomatoes and stir.

Drain tortellini and add to pan. Mix and serve.
