Introduction

This is a good replacement for garlic bread. This is a good replacement for garlic bread.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    wheat pita, margarine, garlic, oregeno, basil

Directions

Cut the pocket pita in half and separate the two sides off each half.
Spread the "butter" on all of the inside surfaces of the pita.
Sprinkle garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil to taste.
Broil on a cookie sheet until crispy.

    I am eating my new found recipe this evening. I put olive oil spray on the pitas and they are wonderfully crispy and I'm eating them with my salad and OTHER new found recipe Pasta- Pasta Fagioli....yummmmm - 3/7/09
