A favorite to most for lunch, dinner, or a side item. A favorite to most for lunch, dinner, or a side item.
Number of Servings: 4


    2 cups of uncooked wheat pasta
    1/2 lb. bacon (pre cooked weight)
    10 oz of grape or cherry tomatoes (cut in 1/2)
    4 oz low fat ranch dressing
    4 cups romaine lettuce


Boil pasta for 8-12 minutes, rinse with cool water. Cook bacon either in the microwave or stovetop, drain all grease and pat bacon slices to absorb any remaining grease crumble all bacon to bite size pieces. In large bowl mix lettuce, cut tomatoes and ranch dressing. Add cooked pasta and crumbled bacon and toss together. If eaten as a side dish can serve 8-10 as a main dish split into 4 equal servings.
This dish can be modified to taste. Less or more lettuce can be used, tukey bacon can be used in place of regular bacon.
