Number of Servings: 26

    1 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
    1 tablespoon minced garlic
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/2 barbeque sauce
    2 tablespoons molasses
    1/4 cup prepared mustard
1 piece bacon, raw, cut up
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 gallon Bush's Baked Beans

Put all ingredients except beans in a skillet and simmer together. You can either refrigerate this mixture until the next morning or use it now, depending on when you want the beans ready to eat.

Spray a large pan with cooking spray and pour in can of beans. Mix in sauce until well blended. Bake at 350 degrees about one hour if you will be finishing the cooking in a crockpot (to take to church or a gathering) or cook for two hours in the oven if serving straight from the oven.

Cooked down, this recipe yields about 13 cups or 26 half cup servings.
