Ingredients

    8 oz chunky ham
    1 deep dish pie shell
    8 oz Swiss cheese
    1.5 c. half and half
    3 eggs

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Prick pie shell with a fork several times. Bake pie shell 5 minutes, remove to cooling rack. Meanwhile, chop ham using slicing disk in food processor or knife to measure 1 cup. Spread ham on bottom of cooled pie shell. Shred Swiss cheese and sprinkle over ham. Combine half and half, and eggs. Blend just until mixture is smooth, not frothy. Pour egg mixture into pie shell. Bake 40-45 minutes or until top is golden and center is firm when pressed with finger tip. (I use a knife to test it.) Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Serves 6.
