Ingredients
-
1/2 pkg Ronzoni Health Harvest Whole Wheat Blend Linguine
1 cup Ham, extra lean, diced
1/4 cup Milk, nonfat
1 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth
1 Tbsp Wondra flour
1/3 cup Colby and Montery Jack cheese, shredded
1/3 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated
Directions
Prepare pasta according to package directions.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Dice ham or slice into 2 inch strips, 1/8 inch thick.
Combine flour with 2 Tbsp of the chicken broth and stir until there are no lumps, then add the rest of the broth and the milk. Heat in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until thick. Add seasonings if you like (I use garlic & onion powder with black pepper) . Turn off the heat and add all of the cheese, stir well.
Combine drained pasta, ham and cheese sauce in a greased or foil lined casserole dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until sauce bubbles. If you want to leave it in the oven longer, cover with foil so the top layer of the noodles don't dry out.
Makes approximately 5 cups, 5 servings.
